The Executive Chairman of Birnin Kudu Local Government Area in Jigawa State, Hon. Dr. Muhammad Uba, has applauded the academic excellence of students at Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Katapilu in the area
Dr. Muhammed Uba during the his visit to the school has interacted with the students and personally recognised those who emerged in the top five positions across all classes.
He presented them with honours as a way of encouraging healthy academic competition and rewarding excellence.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Chairman praised the students for their commitment, discipline and determination to excel in their studies.
He urged them to intensify their efforts, stressing that education remains the most reliable foundation for securing a successful future.
Dr. Uba also charged the students to uphold good conduct, remain obedient to their parents and teachers, and stay focused on their academic goals.
In his address, the Chairman extended appreciation to the teaching staff for their dedication, resilience, and the level of care they give to the students, describing their efforts as akin to nurturing their own children.
He noted that such commitment is instrumental to the academic progress recorded in the school.
The visit, according to Ishak Ibrahim Fanini, Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Executive Chairman, demonstrates the administration’s continued commitment to supporting educational development and motivating students to strive for excellence.
