The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released an adjusted schedule of fees for the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms ahead of its 2026 nationwide congresses and national convention.
Truths Finder reports that the fee structure covers party positions at the ward, local government, state, zonal and national levels, with varying costs attached to each category.
At the ward level, expression of interest for all positions costs ₦5,000, while nomination forms are priced at ₦20,000 for Ward Chairman, ₦15,000 for Ward Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Chairman and other offices.
For local government areas, aspirants are required to pay ₦10,000 for expression of interest. Nomination forms cost ₦100,000 for Local Government Chairman, while Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and other offices attract ₦50,000 each.
At the state level, expression of interest is pegged at ₦50,000. Nomination forms cost ₦1,000,000 for State Chairman, ₦500,000 for Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and other offices.
Zonal offices attract ₦100,000 for expression of interest and ₦200,000 for nomination forms.
For national positions, expression of interest costs ₦100,000. Nomination forms are priced at ₦10 million for National Chairman, ₦7.5 million for Deputy National Chairman (North and South) and National Secretary, ₦5 million for other national offices, while NEC members will pay ₦250,000.
The party noted that female aspirants, youths and persons living with disabilities are to pay only for expression of interest and 50 per cent of the prescribed nomination fees.
It was also disclosed that Ekiti, Osun, Rivers States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are excluded from ward, local government and state congresses but will participate in the election of three delegates to the national convention.
According to the APC, all forms will be filled online after verification of payment by the National Secretariat. Payments are to be made directly into the party’s designated bank accounts with Zenith Bank and United Bank for Africa.
