The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Police Affairs, Senator Ahmed Abdulhamid Malam Madori, has intervened to restore electricity supply to Kashin-Dila town in Malam Madori Local Government Area of Jigawa State after a prolonged period without power.
The intervention followed the disconnection of the community from the national grid during the last rainy season, reportedly caused by strong winds and the vandalisation of electricity infrastructure by suspected criminals.
The senator’s media assistant, Comrade Ahmed Ilallah, disclosed this in a statement made available to TRUTHS FINDER in Dutse.
According to the statement, Senator Malam Madori provided the funds required to repair the damaged electricity line and facilitate the restoration of power supply to the community.
The development is expected to bring relief to residents who have endured months of hardship without electricity, while helping to revive small businesses and other economic activities that depend on regular power supply.

Kashin-Dila, a community with a sizeable population in Malam Madori Local Government Area, is expected to benefit from improved electricity supply for commercial activities, household needs and local economic development.
The restoration is also expected to ease some of the difficulties faced by residents and business operators who have had to cope with the absence of electricity.
Beyond the latest intervention, Senator Malam Madori has also facilitated the installation of solar-powered streetlights in several communities across his constituency, including Kashin-Dila, to improve public lighting and community infrastructure.
Residents of Kashin-Dila have welcomed the senator’s intervention, describing it as a relief after the prolonged power outage caused by the damaged electricity line.
They expressed hope that the restoration of electricity would help revive businesses, improve living conditions and stimulate economic activities across the community.
