Staff of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHETSCO) have expressed strong confidence in the leadership of the newly appointed Director-General, Hon. Engr. Magaji Da’u Aliyu, pledging their full cooperation to move the institution forward.

The assurance was made by the member staff while receiving the newly appointed Director General when he reported to office on Monday

According to the statement, the workforce described Aliyu’s appointment as well-deserved, citing his wealth of experience, proven leadership qualities and contributions to national development as critical assets expected to strengthen the complex’s mandate.

Hon. Aliyu resumed duty following his appointment by Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He was warmly received by directors and staff who turned out in large numbers to welcome him, reflecting what observers described as renewed optimism within the institution.Addressing management and staff, the Director-General commended the workforce for their dedication and assured them of his resolve to reposition SHETSCO for greater efficiency and measurable impact.

He pledged to promote professionalism, enhance productivity and prioritise staff welfare, noting that workers remain the backbone of any successful organisation.

Aliyu further assured employees that their rights and welfare would be safeguarded under his leadership while a culture of discipline and accountability would be strengthened across departments.

He urged staff members to remain committed to their duties, emphasising punctuality, adherence to workplace regulations and teamwork as key drivers of institutional growth.

The statement added that special prayers were offered for divine guidance and success as the new Director-General begins the task of steering the complex towards achieving its strategic objectives.
