The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has launched a fresh grassroots mobilisation drive across the seven North-West states, declaring its determination to secure massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid in the 2027 presidential election.
Deputy Director, TSG North, Hon. Magaji Dau Aliyu (PhD), made the declaration shortly after the formal inauguration of the group’s leadership structures for the North-West in Kano.
Aliyu said the group would work with All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, TSG structures and grassroots stakeholders to expand its reach and consolidate support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
He disclosed that the group had developed strategies aimed at reaching communities and mobilising voters at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
“We have put adequate strategies in place to reach and mobilise the grassroots and real voters to cast their votes for Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during the presidential election,” Aliyu said.
The TSG deputy director expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s victory in 2027, pointing to the presence and support of prominent political leaders at the inauguration.
“Looking at the importance and calibre of politicians here, we are optimistic of the success of our project,” he said.
Aliyu, who is also Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), commended APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf; Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin; and former Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
He also acknowledged the contributions of Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Hajiya Mariya Bunkure; TSG Director-General, Dr Umar Tanko Yakasai; deputy governors from the North-West states; national and state APC leaders; elected representatives and other political stakeholders.
The inauguration, held at Kofar Mata Stadium, Kano, attracted supporters and political stakeholders from Kano, Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara states.
The massive turnout, according to Aliyu, demonstrated the strength of the Tinubu political movement at the grassroots and reflected continued support for the Renewed Hope administration across the region.
He said the inauguration had provided a fresh platform for TSG to deepen grassroots mobilisation, strengthen political engagement and educate Nigerians on the policies, programmes and achievements of the Tinubu administration.
Aliyu described the North-West as strategically important to the success of the Renewed Hope agenda, assuring that the group would sustain its engagement with communities and political stakeholders across the region.
He said TSG would continue to work with APC leaders and grassroots actors to build a stronger political structure ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
